I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management with minors in Liberal Studies, Child & Human Development, and Asian-American Studies. I hold single subject teaching credentials in English, Design, Media, Marketing, and Teaching Careers. I also hold the designation of Master Activity Adviser (MAA) through the California Association of Directors of Activities (CADA) and the designation of Certified Journalism Educator (CJE) through the Journalism Education Association (JEA). I have also earned a Master's Degree in Educational Administration, Leadership, and Teaching.
I have been a fixture of SMHS for the last 30 years. I have served as the ASB & Activities Director for the majority of those years. I advise the nationally award-winning Titanian yearbook, the Titan Shield news site, and the Titan Musings literary magazine. I am member of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) department. I teach all the graphic design courses. I am also the President of the San Marino Teachers Association (SMTA). Go Titans!
