Go on line and find two political cartoons. One should deal with fiscal policy, and the other should have to do with monetary policy (the Fed). Cut and paste each cartoon and put it on a word document. Under each cartoon, write an analysis of the cartoon. Each analysis should describe the symbols in the cartoon and explain the perspective of the cartoonist. After clicking "Start Now!", you will be asked a series of questions.  The only one you have to fill out is your zip code.  Don't worry about the other questions.  After clicking "Next", you will be able to make some Spending choices.  After going through the spending choices, you will be able to make some revenue choices.  

Upon completing the simulation, you must do the following:

a) What was your impact on the national debt?
b) Pick at least two decisions you made on your spending choices. (You can click on the choices in order to give you a better idea of each program) Explain what would be the possible ramifications of your budget decision. (Politically, economically, etc) Explain what parties and / or interest groups will support or criticize you? If you did not make any changes, you can explain two programs that you did not alter and explain why you chose not to change them.
