This is also a group project.  You will have time in class to work on this project.  It is due on Thursday, May 17.  See attached handout and rubric. 

Create a political cartoon on a current event in government. Use an 8.5 by 11 sheet of white paper. 2/3 of the paper should be the picture and 1/3 should be a typed explanation. 20 points.

Please fill out this form with your reactions to the test... 

 

Titans who missed the assignment on Thursday, May 3 can make it up by doing the following assignment.  

1. Pick one of the four essay questions.  

2. Brainstorm the answers (bullet points).  

3. Look at the rubric for the question.  

4, Without changing your answer, type a few sentences in which you analyze how you did on that question.

This assignment title is "Political Cartoons".

Go on line and find two political cartoons. One should deal with fiscal policy, and the other should have to do with monetary policy (the Fed). Cut and paste each cartoon and put it on a word document. Under each cartoon, write an analysis of the cartoon. Each analysis should describe the symbols in the cartoon and explain the perspective of the cartoonist. Upon completion, send me an attachment to the word document or you can share it with me if you use google docs.
