1. Your partner is doing volunteer work. Ask him/her where he/she volunteers? What activities do they do? What form of communication did they use to announce their campaign?
2. You are soliciting donations for a nursing home. Ask your partner if he/she can provide any of the following monetary funds, a bag of clothes, some books, volunteer at the nursing home or to help pick up cans.
3. Use commands to command your partner to do the following activities. Lend you work gloves to clean the park. Read the newspaper to senior citizens in a nursing home. Get the cooperation of a magazine to publish your advertisement.
4. You and your partner want to create your own ad promoting your charity work. Discuss what you have and what you need. Use commands to divide the tasks amongst each other.
5. You and your partner are discussing what tasks you want to do for your charity such as call the photographer, make a graph, put the personal ad in the newspaper and talk with the news reporters. You each do not want to the job and are commanding the other to do the task.
6. Your partner is asking you for advice for a trip he/she has to make. You have gone on the field trip before and make suggestions as to what he/she should do. Discuss what you should wear, take and do while on the trip. Use commands with pronouns.
7. You and your partner are part of a committee that is recommending a new television channel in your community. Discuss what type of programming will it have and possible sponsors for the channel.
8. You and your partner are discussing famous Hispanic people in the United States. Each one of you should discuss 2 famous people. (Why are they famous and do they do any charitable work.)
9. You and your partner are discussing famous Hispanics. Choose one famous person to discuss. Talk about who they are, why are they known, how did they contribute to the history of the U.S.
