POETRY PORTFOLIO DUE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE PERIOD!!! 

Please remember to bring Asher Lev starting Wednesday, 4/28.

Name poem due.  Remember to use vivid words (vs. generic ones like "super," "great," etc.).  Also, remember to keep all of your words parallel (meaning if one is an adjective, they all must be adjectives, etc.).  Write on the longer of your two names and make sure the words you choose best embody YOU.  Lastly, don't forget to decorate your page, making it visually appealing.

Epitaph: I'll collect it on Friday, 4/16.

Your epitaph based on one of Edgar Lee Master's poems read in class will be due tomorrow.  Make sure to refer back to the assignment sheet for all of the requirements.

Complete both sides of the adj./adv. clause review worksheet.

Finish the elliptical clause practice exercises.  Make sure that you follow all directions.

Finish editing 2 paragraphs on writing handout and answering questions 1-7 only. Make sure you mark up the paragraphs fully!

Tonight (Tues.), work on your planning notes. They should be at least 2/3 of the way completed as you walk into class on tomorrow. Tomorrow you will be given 15 minutes at the beginning of the period to finish your planning notes before they are due.
