This year, my 16th at SMHS, I am teaching Honors Physics, and Physics. This coming summer, 2022, I will again teach World History.  
 
Prior to coming to San Marino High School, I taught Earth Science at Pasadena High School for two years. I have a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and a M.B.A. in Marketing/Accounting from UCLA. I bring over 18 years corporate work experience to the classroom. I spent five years at Rawlings Sporting Goods working in Engineering and Research & Development. After receiving my M.B.A. I spent 13 years working in consumer products marketing and advertising at Hunt-Wesson Foods, Sparkletts Water and Information Resources Inc. I am currently working on an MA in US History from Gettysburg College.
 
I hold a Single Subject Teaching Credential with subject authorizations in Physics, Earth Science, Foundational Math, Social Sciences, Introductory Business and Industrial Technology & Education. I am the faculty advisor for the SMHS Robotics Team.  I was also the WASC Accreditation Self-Study Coordinator along with David Irie from 2012-2014.
