Prior to coming to San Marino High School, I taught English, Spanish, and ELD at Crescenta Valley High School for eleven years. I have a BA in English and a Masters in Education - both degrees from UCLA. I acquired Spanish as a second language through living with native speakers in San Jose, Costa Rica and Sevilla, Spain. I hold a BCLAD bilingual certificate. 

 

I have three children, two are adults- one in the workforce and the other in graduate school at UCLA.  My youngest is a sophomore in high school.  I have served as curriculum lead, alternating between junior and senior levels since coming to work in San Marino.
