Annotations Update

Students,

I have graded annotations for periods 1,2,4,5. I have two books without names: one has pink post-its and the other has blue and black writing. All of the scores are based on the rubric on the back of your class calendar. I have rubrics for each book submitted. I encourage you to come in tomorrow at snack or after school to collect your work; otherwise, it will be available for you when we return from break.

Thank you,

Mrs. H

Assignments on Power School

Dear Students,

If you emailed me your FINAL draft of the outline or works cited, please bring in a hard copy by Friday. This item goes into your portfolio, so a paper copy is required. To clarify, this is not an opportunity to turn in late work. This is only for the students who EMAILED me the assignments on time.

After you finish your finals, please review assignments in Power School. If there is an error on my part; for example, you turned in an assignment, it was graded, you received it back, but it is not in Power School. Please print out the grade sheet, highlight it, and attach the assignment with score/stamp. Again, this is not an opportunity to turn in late work. If you notice you have a 0 on an assignment you know you completed- I encourage you to come in and check the NO NAME folder. All of this must be completed by Friday, December 20 at 1:00 pm.

A final note about grades: teachers have until January 8, 2014 to complete grades.

For Quarter 3, you will need to obtain a copy of Cliff's Complete Romeo & Juliet ISBN 9780764585746. There are copies available in the school library, or you may purchase one on your own. You will need this text on January 20, 2014.

Thank you for a wonderful semester! I hope you have a magical and safe holiday!

Proud to be a Titan,

Mrs. Hernandez
