Review project assignments will be done in class Friday or Monday so that you can work on the project during the 3 days of SBAC testing (you will only miss class one of the three days). Please think about a partner, possibly one who shares your SBAC testing day (done by English class). You will present your review project on either 5/29, 5/30 or 6/2, depending on your topic. You will be given a rubric when we have project sign-ups.

For anyone interested in engineering, one use of matrices is in the computations of finite element analysis (for solving boundary problems, calculating stresses and strains, etc). Here is one link you might want to look at (a lecture given at the University of Victoria in British Columbia). You can find other information about finite element analysis, as well as other uses of matrices by searching on the internet. Yay math!

Due to a change in the quarter finals schedule, we will take a non-calculator portion of our chapter test on Monday and a calculator portion on Tuesday.
We will not use the whole period either day. We will use the remainder of the period and Wednesday to work on our trig puzzle projects.
