Academic Performance Index
The Academic Performance Index, or API, is a scale from 200 to 1000 points
that annually measures the academic performance and progress of individual
schools in California. SMHS has consistently scored above the state's annual
target of 800. Although SMHS qualifies for API Awards Programs the California
legislature has not allocated funds.
