If you're looking to stay in shape or get a head start on next year's dance class OR try to move up a level, the following classes are available through the Summer Athletic Program.
Intro to Dance (Level 1):
M/W 4:30 - 6
is open to any student who will be in grades 8 - 12 in 2009 who has NOT taken dance at SMHS.
Level 2 Dance:
M/W 6 - 7:30
is open to any student who has taken Beginning Dance at the High School
Level 3 Dance:
T/TH 4:30 - 6
is open to any student who has taken Intermediate Dance at the High School
Dance Company Auditions:
T/TH 6 - 8
is an AUDITION class and open ONLY to students who are interested in auditioning for Dance Company. All students must have Ms. Hanson's approval to take this class unless they are currently in Int/Adv Dance OR Dance Company.
FEE for all classes is: $100.00
Classes begin June 15 and end July 23.
Classes are held at the SMHS Dance Studio, Rm 604.
*Annie Chao will teach levels 2 and 3. Ms. Hanson will teach level 1 (intro to dance) and Dance Company Auditions.
To register, go to the high school web site: www.sanmarinohs.org. Go to the
Athletics button and click on Summer Athletics Program. Click on the link which takes you to the 3 forms that you need to register. Download the forms:
- Athletic Insurance Exemption Statement
- PTA Emergency
- Registration Form
Write "Level _____Dance" as your "SPORT" on the registration form.
The fee is S100.00
Return these 4 forms and the fee to the APO at SMHS.
