Students will be introduced to the graphing calculator this year. I have graphing calculators for students to share in class, but if you would like to purchase one, we suggest the TI-84 (Texas Instruments). The color version is currently on sale on Amazon for $98 but the TI-84 is available at office supply stores, Target, etc.  Click the link to see what the TI-84 Plus C model looks like (any model of the TI-84 is acceptable, but the link is for the model with the full color display).

This is NOT a mandatory purchase, but we do use this calculator in many of the other math classes at SMHS and it can also be used for SAT testing.  Please feel free to e-mail if you have any questions.
