Math Analysis (Honors) Assignments

Trig puzzle "review" due at the beginning of class today.

Trig puzzles due at the beginning of the period.

Criteria:

Easy to read

Use color

On "printer paper" (so it can be copied for other students to do)

Leave a small margin around edges

Names and "answer" to puzzle on back

Minimum 12 problems (group of 3, 18 problems)

No math/spelling errors

Key (do the problems) on separate sheet of paper (easy to follow/no errors)

Must use an appropriate math related joke or pun

Be creative!

 

Print the attached Chapter 14 guide and bring it to class each day.

This will be done IN CLASS on Friday, April 28.

If you did the practice test outside of class due to an absence, feel free to stop by to check your answers!

Print the HMA Review Projects sheet and bring to class on Thursday.  You will be assigned your topic and we will discuss dates during class.

 

The rubric for oral presentations is attached for your information.  Please keep the criteria in mind for the presentation portion of this project.

For day 2 of the 11.2 homework, it is ok with me if you use your calculator to do the word problems.  And don't go too crazy with the tables in #85...

Please print the attached Chapter 11 guide and bring it to class with you.

Note that quiz/test dates are April 10/11.

There is no guide sheet for our conics review.  You will be given assignments each day in class and unfinished work will be your homework for the night.  We will review the parabola, circle/ellipse, and hyperbola.  Source materials for the review are not from your text. Answers to all worksheets will be posted each night.

 

You will have a conics quiz on Friday, March 17th.

Print the attached guide sheet for our next unit and have it with you in class on Tuesday.

Print the attached Chapter 8 Guide Sheet and keep it in your notebook

The attached formula sheet will be provided for the test on WEDNESDAY.  You should know the other formulas.

 

You should have all of your formulas memorized for the Tuesday quiz.  The quiz is just a test of your knowledge of the formulas.

We will still have our quiz today.  There are two easier problems from section 7.5 and the rest is 7.1 - 7.4.

 

Your Tuesday homework is proving identities with the new sine/cosine sum & difference formulas.  Please complete this assignment.  We will continue with the section tomorrow.
